CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Babbar Khalsa activist Bhai Jagtar Singh Tara has refused to contest his case of Burail jail break in the court. Bhai Tara has stated that he has no faith in Indian constitution and law. Advocate Simranjit Singh shared this information with Sikh24 and informed that Bhai Tara has told the court that he doesn’t have any faith in Indian Constitution so he doesn’t wish to contest his case.
Advocate Simranjit Singh stated that Bhai Tara’s relatives have been allowed to meet him in jail but only after getting permission from the court.
Advocate Amar Singh Chahal also informed that Bhai Tara has refused to contest the Beant Singh assassination case in court for the same reason.
It is noteworthy that Bhai Jagtar Singh Tara was recently arrested from Thailand and deported to India in January, 2015 after his escape from Burail Jail in 2004 along with Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara and Bhai Paramjit Singh Bheora.
