Panthik delegation submits memorandum to SGPC seeking action in the case of stolen saroops

:dateline:Panthik bodies headed by Damdami Taksal Chief Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala, Bhai Jaskaran Singh Kahan Singh Wala, Bhai Himmat Singh, Bhai Balwant Singh Gopala and others�today submitted a memorandum to the SGPC President seeking his intervention in the incident of stolen scriptures of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in village Burj Jawahar Singh Wala.

It was stated in the�memorandum that inaction by the�SGPC and the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib even after 41 days of the incident has hurt the sentiments of Sikh sangat. �Sikh leaders alleged that the SGPC is not serious about maintaining respect�of Sri Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

As the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib is on his tour to abroad, the memorandum was received by the Secretary In-charge Sukhdev Singh. �SGPC president Avtar Singh Makkar also couldn�t attend the Panthik delegation and the memorandum was received by the SGPC Secretary Roop Singh.
