:dateline:Singh Sahib Giani Mall today inaugurated the religious programs to be held to mark the 350th foundation day of Sri Anandpur Sahib from June 17 to June 19, by commencing Sri Akhand Path Sahib and performing Ardas at Gurudwara Guru Ka Mehal, Bhora Sahib.
Panj Piares inaugurated the functions by beating five nagaras (battle drums) and the hazoori ragis delighted the Sikh sangat with divine Kirtan of Gurbani scriptures. It is noteworthy that Guru Teg Bahadaur Ji laid foundation stone of Chakk Nanki (Anandpur Sahib) on 19 June about 350 years ago. SGPC is organizing all these programs to mark this historical event.
Singh Sahib Giani Mall Singh said that we are lucky to have the�opportunity to mark the 350th foundation anniversary of Sri Anandpur Sahib, where Khalsa was initiated. He appealed the Sikh masses to pay visit to Sri Anandpur Sahib on this historical eve. He informed that Amrit Sanchaar programs will also be held continuously from June 17 to June 19 at Takhat Sri Kesgarh Sahib.
