Major Breakthrough as Sikh Political Prisoner Bhai Sukhwinder Singh released from Nabha Jail

PATIALA, Punjab—Bhai Sukhwinder Singh, nicknamed Boxer has been released on bail.

Bhai Sukhwinder Singh was charged in 8 cases out of which he was acquitted in 6.  Boxer is son of S. Sohan Singh and resident of village Rono of district Ludhiana.  He was detained at the maximum security jail of Nabha.

In February 2015, a court in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar sentenced Sukwinder Singh under the Arms and Explosives Act.  His lawyer had alleged that he was fabricated in the case and 2.5kg of RDX explosives was implanted upon him.

Name of Sukhwinder Singh was included in the list of prisoners shared by the Sangarsh Committee in the initial meeting held with Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Badal.

  1. Welcome back Bhai Sukhwinder Singh ji!

The Punjab Police arrested Bhai Sahib with fabricated charges: Punjab Police just doing its job as it has been for the past 30+ years.

What a disgraceful form of “law enforcement” in the “world’s largest democracy”. No wonder the public is more afraid of the police than actual thugs, both working hand-in-hand.

Hopefully, all of the other Sikh political prisoners will be released soon.

    Khalistan Zindabad!
