:dateline:Senior leader of Punjab Congress Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has written a letter to Sri Akal Takht Sahib Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh, requesting him to conferred title of �Panth Rattan Fakhar-e-Quam� upon former Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh during the 350th anniversary celebrations of Anandpur Sahib.
The Congress leader has also urged Badal to invite the former Prime minister as a chief guest at the function in view his �contribution to the country�.
In the letter, Randhawa insisted that no one would be able to match what Dr Manmohan Singh had contributed for Punjab. �The former PM brightened the name of the Sikh community by having great achievements in different field at the national and international levels�, he added.
