Sikh Leaders Pay Homage To Shri AR Darshi – Writer of a renowned book on Sant Bhindranwale

LUDHIANA, Punjab—A library in memory of Shri AR Darshi would be constructed at Rode, the native village of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.  The library would likely be constructed at the Gurdwara Sahib which was built in memory of Sant Ji. This was announced by Bhai Jasvir Singh Rode at the antim ardas ceremony of AR Darshi held here at Gurdwara Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana. 
 
While paying homage to the departed soul, Bhai Jasvir Singh also announced that the book authored by AR Darshi ‘The Gallant Defender- Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale’ would be reprinted by Damdami Taksal (Mehta Chowk), Amritsar and distributed in abundance, worldwide. 
 
DS Gill Chairperson International Human Rights Organisation (IHRO) read Authority Letter: “I AR Darshi hereby authorise Baba Harnam Singh, Head Damadami Taksal (Mehta Chowk) Amritsar to publish, with all rights my book- The Gallant Defender…”- Signed  AR Darshi.
 
Mr Gill explained his association with Darshi, the departed soul’s close association with IHRO, Jathedar Jagdev Singh Talwandi and Sant Bhindrawale. A Research Paper ‘Ram Janam Bhumi A Myth’ prepared by AR Darshi was published by IHRO when he was in service (for which he was compulsorily retired), added Mr Gill. 
 
The antim ardas was largely attended by political leaders, social and human rights activists. State level ex-ministers, MLAs etc. It was decided by family members that no one would politicize the ceremony. Dozens condolence messages were received, including the one personal letter written by Punjab Chief Minister Parkash ‘Singh’ Badal to Ms. Anita Darshi, SDM Sangrur, elder daughter of AR Darshi.  Ms. Darshi and her brother were bestowed Dastar and Siropa on behalf of the Damdami Taksal and the Sikh Nation by Bhai Rode.
