CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Beas (district Amritsar) based cult ‘Radha Soami’ head Gurinder Dhillon on Sunday visited PGI to meet Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann who is receiving medical treatment here. The cult head inquired about health condition of the pro-freedom Sikh politician.
The meeting which lasted for around 20 minutes, was held in heart care centre of PGI where Mann is under treatment for two weeks. The meeting was kept totally confidential and only few senior doctors were information in this regard.
As per sources, Dhillon reached here at 11.30 AM. He wore cream coloured turban and black goggles. When Mann was approached to know about the meeting, he said that the cult head came to inquire about his health condition. As he told, Dhillon expressed deep concern over issue of Sikh political prisoners who have been kept behind bars for decades.
When asked about Dhillon’s visit to Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar, Mann termed him as very nice personality. During the meeting, Dr. Jagat Ram, family members of S. Mann and his PA Gurjant Singh Kattu were also present. As per doctors, health of S. Mann is meeting recovery.
