First Jatha Courts Arrest at Fatehgarh Sahib in Support of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa

FATEHGARH SAHIB, Punjab—First Jatha of 62 Singhs courted its arrest at Fatehgarh Sahib as a sign of protest against illegal detention of political Sikh prisoners by the Punjab Government. It is notable that the decision of courting arrest at will was taken in the Panthik Conference of May 10 at village Hassanpur.
