LUDHIANA, Punjab—Senior lawyer and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader HS Phoolka has been appointed as national legal counsel of the party. He has been given the responsibility in view of his long experience in the field.
His supporters in the party have thanked AAP convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and party high command for appointing him on this important position. They hoped that Phoolka would fulfill his duty with full dedication which would benefit to the party.
It is worth mentioning that Phoolka is well known crusader working for victims of 1984 Sikh genocide. He has been fighting cases against main culprits of the genocide such as Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar putting his life in risk. On AAP ticket, he had contested Parliamentary elections from Ludhiana Lok Sabha segment but lost with very narrow margin.
