TARN TARAN SAHIB, Punjab—Dr. Gurjinder Singh, the President of Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwala (Amritsar) has stated that the ground for collapse of Akali Government in Punjab is maturing with the passing days of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s hunger strike. He said that Sikh Nation will not tolerate continued and deliberate ignoring of Sikh issues by the Akali Dal (Badal) anymore. “Day by day, the weakening health of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa is indicating the collapse of Akali Dal in Punjab,” he added.
He further stated that peaceful protest is a right of all humans and permitted by law. He added that “by torturing Bapu Ji physically and mentally, the Punjab Government has proved its dictatorship.”
Dr.Gurjinder Singh said that his organization is going to attend Panthik Conference at Hassanpur on May 10. He also informed of holding an awareness march in Tarn Taran in support of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s struggle.
He appealed the whole Sikh nation to recognize its responsibility towards release of illegally detained political Sikh prisoners and to come forward in support of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s struggle. Bapu Ji’s hunger strike today concluded 112 days.
