SMALSAR, Punjab—Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa Memorial Committee, Jathedar Dulla Singh Sucha Singh Sports Club, Nagar Panchayats and whole NRI world will organize the 8th Kabaddi Tournament at village Rode (Moga) dedicated to the birthday anniversary of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale.
Former Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and nephew of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale, Jathedar Jasbir Singh Ji Rode, released a poster about it in Gurdwara Sant Khalsa. Management informed that matches 62 Kg category will be held on 12 February in which one outside player can participate. Matches of open category will be held on 13 February in which two players from outside can participate. The best defender and raider will be honored with motorcycles. The Management also informed that winner and runner up teams will be rewarded with Rs. 51000 and Rs 41000 respectively in open category. While in category of 62 Kg, teams will be rewarded with Rs. 15000 and Rs. 11000 respectively.
