:dateline:President of SGPC, Avtar Makkar has announced to convert Khalsa College (Patiala) to Sri Guru Teg Bahadur University from the next session.�He said that he is feeling blessed to announce the establishment of this university.
He said that a campus constituting 6 blocks, boys and girls hostel, staff quarter and a guest house will be built in village Dhablan. This project will cost to Rs. 100 million in the first stage.
Makkar was participating in a meeting of the committee to discuss the new project. �Surjit Rakhra and Ministers related to areas�of�Education, Language, Water Supply and Sanitation were also present here.
