PATIALA, Punjab—President of SGPC, Avtar Makkar has announced to convert Khalsa College (Patiala) to Sri Guru Teg Bahadur University from the next session. He said that he is feeling blessed to announce the establishment of this university.
He said that a campus constituting 6 blocks, boys and girls hostel, staff quarter and a guest house will be built in village Dhablan. This project will cost to Rs. 100 million in the first stage.
Makkar was participating in a meeting of the committee to discuss the new project. Surjit Rakhra and Ministers related to areas of Education, Language, Water Supply and Sanitation were also present here.
