CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Punjab and Haryana High Court today granted clearance to self-styled godman and Sirsa based cult chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s movie ‘Messenger of God’ (MSG). The movie will be screened on February 13 in cinemas of Haryana.
The court today refused to impose a ban on the controversial film.
The petition seeking a ban on the film was logded by Mohali based Sikh body ‘Kalgidhar Sewak Jatha’.
Sikh circles and Haryana based political party Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) are opposing the screening of the film.
