LUDHIANA, Punjab—Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s hunger strike for the release of Sikh political prisoners has entered its 19th day and his health condition continues to deteriorate. Various Sikh leaders have extended their support to the cause of Khalsa.
On the 20th day, a committee of Sikh leaders was constituted to spread awareness about the strike of Khalsa and his cause. As per information available, Bhai Kanwarpal Singh Dal Khalsa, Bhai Papalpreet Singh Sikh Youth Front, Bhai Gurpreet Singh Guri are also included in the committee.
Bhai Surinder Singh Thikriwal and other Sikh leaders met Bapu Khalsa to pass their support. The Sikh leaders enquired about the health condition of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa.
