NEW DELHI, India—The district court of New Delhi has kept its decision reserved over transferring the debate in a case against three accused culprits on the basis of jurisdiction. These three culprits are accused in a case of the Sikh genocide in Delhi along with Sajjan Kumar. Justice Talwant Singh of District Court appointed the next debate on 31st January after listening to the arguments of CBI and advocates of accused culprits.

The case is about the murder of Surjit Singh in Sultanpuri of Western Delhi, relating to which Sajjan Kumar, Brahmanand Gupta, Piria, and Ved Parkash were charged in court. During the debate, advocate of culprit Ved Parkash said that court should implement the 2013 decision of Delhi High Court in which it said that Session Courts should migrate the debates over cases on the basis of jurisdiction.
