MELBOURNE, Austalia—A Sikh man, Harjinder Singh Kukreja, did his first ever skydive for the religious freedom of Sikhs to be able to wear turbans in France.
 
Harjinder Singh is an active contributor of local Sikh community news on Twitter.  He was raising awareness of Sikh identity by skydiving.  Currently, members of the Sikh faith, and other religious groups in France are banned from wearing their religious articles in public.  Harjinder Singh’s Twitter handle is @SinghLions.
