AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Newly launched Panthik organization Sikh Youth Front (SYF) will be organizing ‘Ghulami Chetna March’ (slavery awareness march) on November 9 at Amritsar Sahib with the motive of creating awareness about the crisis of Punjab.

The organization has been launched recently by Sikh youth led by Dr. Sharanjit Singh Rataul.

As per information shared by Bhai Papalpreet Singh, general secretary of SYF, the awareness march will start from Fuhara Chowk at 4.30 PM and conclude at Hall Gate.

“Punjabis, especially Sikhs, are spending their lives in slavery and the state is dying physically and ideologically. Thousands of Sikh youths have been murdered by security forces of India extra-judicially, violating basic human rights. The state backed Hindu mobs that killed Sikhs in Delhi and other cities of India with the intention of genocide of the members of the minority community. Thousands of Punjabi farmers commit suicide every year. Who is responsible? With the motive of raising such sensitive issues, our organization is organizing this march,” he said.

He appealed to all to take part in the march for the Sikh cause.
