Protest March Organized in Kashmir on 30th Anniversary of Sikh Genocide

SRINAGAR, India—Sikh organizations of Kashmir organized a protest march on the 30th anniversary of the Sikh genocide performed by communal Hindu elements after the assassination of Indira Gandhi.

This protest march was organized in the leadership of Gurdwara Committee in Nagbal area of Anantnag, in which Sikh protesters recited slogans against Congress and its allied parties and expressed in-depth concern about not punishing the accused culprits of this genocide. Protesters in this march said that Indian Government doesn’t want to punish the accused culprits. That is why the Government is trying to satisfy the victims by giving them financial compensation. This is a serious issue for Sikh community.

This march was stopped at DC Office and the protesters gave a memorandum to DC for punishing the accused culprits of the Sikh genocide.
