Oak Creek, WI, USA—A survivor of the Sikh Temple shooting in Oak Creek is questioning where funds collected after the shooting are being distributed.

Santokh Singh, a priest at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin, has asked a lawyer to determine where donations that poured in following the shooting have been distributed.

The Aug. 5, 2012 left six people dead and several others, including Singh, injured.

Attorney Christopher Stawski said letters were sent to the the Temple president and chairman, as well as Amar Kaleka, in April 2014.  Stawski said none of the letters have yet received a response.

Stawski said Singh is concerned about where the money has gone.

“The fact that both the Sikh Temple and candidate Kaleka have failed to respond to Mr. Singh’s requests for information … is very troublesome to him and makes him very suspicious as to what may have happened to the donations.”

Kaleka is running for the 1st Congressional District seat currently held by U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan.
