Police Make Arrests in Auto Theft Crackdown at Gurdwara Nanak Niwas in Richmond, BC

:dateline:Richmond Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RMPC) say they have arrested two men in a crackdown on auto theft at a local Sikh cultural center.

RCMP say vehicles were being broken into repeatedly while parked at the center on No. 5 Road during celebratory events. The two men who were arrested were released on a promise to appear. They will appear in Richmond court on June 10, 2014.

�The India Cultural Center of Canada�s Gurdwara Nanak Niwas is very thankful to the Richmond RCMP for its on-going support and assistance and would like to commend the RCMP officers for apprehending these individuals,� says President Chain Batth of the India Cultural Centre. The identities of the two men were not released.
