Ontario Khalsa Darbar Expels Visiting Preacher for Illicit Affair

BRAMPTON, Ontario, Canada—Sources close to Ontario Khalsa Darbar (Dixie Gurdwara) have stated to media outlets that Shivteg Singh, the controversial pseudo-missionary preacher from Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, was expelled from the Gurdwara premises after he was caught in an illicit relationship with a married women during his recent tour in Canada.

Shivteg Singh, who is highly regarded by Dasam Granth deniers as a great orator, and who regularly delivered sermons from Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, has often toured Canada at the behest of psuedo-missionary groups that openly reject the sacred Bani of Guru Gobind Singh Ji that is enshrined in Sri Dasam Granth.

Inside sources have reportedly stated that Shivteg and a married woman, who was visiting the Gurdwara with a Dhadi (bard) group, had been sharing a private room for a few days on the Gurdwara premises where they continued an illicit relationship but were finally caught by a Gurdwara volunteer.

A spokesperson for Ontario Khalsa Darbar has admitted that Shivteg was recently expelled from the Gurdwara Sahib due to “some wrong doings,” but has not divulged further information on the incident.

Other anti-Dasam Granth personalities have also recently been accused of similar illicit wrongdoing, most notably Gurbaksh Kala-Afghana, who has previously misinterpreted Dasam Granth scripture as “lewd”. He was excommunicated from the Panth for blasphemy, and has also been mired by various controversies related to adultery, attempted rape, and sexual abuse.
