FATEHGARH SAHIB—The birthday of a great Sikh of the twentieth century Shaheed Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale will be celebrated on February 12, 2014 at historical and sacred place Sri Fatehgarh Sahib at a large scale by Sikh nationalist political party Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar).
According to a press release issued by the party spokesperson, three Fateh Marches will also be conducted dedicated to the birthday on Feb 11 which will be started from all three Takhts situated in Punjab i.e. Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib and Takht Sri Damdama Sahib to Sri Fatehgarh Sahib and reach at Pandal at 11.00 A.M.
On Feb 12. Sikhs around Punjab will be assembled in memory of the great Sikh warrior who sacrificed his life in the war fought by Sikhs against the Indian Army. On the occasion, Dhadi vaars will be performed by Dhadi Jathas. Party president Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann and its senior leaders Bhai Dhian Singh Mand, Jaskaran Singh Kahan Singh Wala, Prof. Mohinder Pal Singh and Iman Singh Mann will be addressing the congregation.
