:dateline:The court of additional district and session judge, Smt. Neelam Arora has acquitted five Sikhs from criminal offense charges.

Thana city Police of NawaShaher had earlier registered an F.I.R. against these Sikhs for allegedly conspiring in terrorism related activities.

Namely Giani Parshotam Singh, Harminder Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Prabhdyal Singh, and Dharminder Singh were arrested for the alleged offence. Prabhdyal Singh and Dharminder Singh were released on bail after one year but Parshotam Singh, Harminder Singh, and Gurpreet Singh have been in Nabha jail until today.

Advocate Ajit Singh Saian and A.K. Sarein fought their case but police could not produce any definite proof against these people, due to which honorable additional district and session judge Smt. Neelam Arora acquitted them.

It is noteworthy that these Sikhs were arrested on the basis of an anonymous tip received by the police.
