Support by Baba Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale Need of the Time

13757_mainAJITGARH, Mohali—A meeting has taken place between Baba Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale and Bhai Damandeep Singh at Gurdwara Amb Sahib.  A press note shared by the Dal states:

After the arrest of Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa, it was decided by the Sikh organisations that Bhai Damandeep Singh, a Sikh youth from Ludhiana, would continue with the peaceful hunger strike at Gurdwara Amb Sahib whilst Bhai Gurbaksh Singh remains imprisoned in Ropar Jail. Baba Ranjit Singh Khalsa Dhadrianwale has visited Bhai Damandeep Singh this evening to show the young Sikh support. Sikhs must continue to display solidarity towards the cause to free Sikh prisoners who continue to languish in Indian jails after the completion of their legal sentences.

Sikh24 appreciates the continued support by Baba Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale for the campaign started by Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa.  Dhadrianwale  enjoys a large following in Punjab’s towns and villages, the people that need to be educated about the injustice towards the Sikhs.  So far, much support has been expressed by leaders of various organizations, however awareness work needs to be done at a large scale.

The Akhand Kirtani Jatha too has announced a 24 hour long continuous kirtan program at Gurdwara Amb Sahib, Ajitgarh, Mohali on 11th December from 12 noon till 12 noon the next day.  All the kirtanis and Sangat are requested to reach and support the movement Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa has started. Previously, AKJ, Dam Dami Taksal and other jathebandis joined together to sit and do keertan together at the historical Gurdwara.
