Delhi Sikhs Organize Candle Light Vigil for Sikh Prisoners

NEW DELHI—Sikhs in Delhi organized a Human Rights Vigil today outside the main entry of Tihar Jail in support of the ongoing campaign to release Sikh prisoners who have completed their punishment awarded by the courts.  As per information shared by Journalist Bhai Jarnail Singh, a large number of Sikhs from all over Delhi took part in the vigil.

The vigil was organized to raise awareness of the campaign started by Bhai Gurbaksh Singh.  Bhai Sahib has been on a hunger strike since November 14 to seek the release of 7 Sikhs who have completed their terms but are still languishing in jails.

Indian media has failed to publicize the justice campaign by Bhai Gurbaksh Singh while there has been large support by Sikhs living worldwide.
