Behbal Klan Tragedy: Justice Ranjit Singh Seeks Fresh Reply from Sumedh Saini by July 15

CHANDIGARH—As per media reports, the Punjab government appointed Justice Ranjit Singh led Investigation Commission has sought a fresh reply from the former Punjab DGP Sumedh Saini against the questions posed to him earlier. Notably, the former Punjab DGP had earlier lodged an incomplete reply to the Commission on June 29 i.e. a day before his retirement from Punjab Police.

Sikh24 has learnt that the Investigation Commission has fixed July as deadline for Sumedh Saini to lodge reply to the questions posed to him earlier.

Sources have informed that the Commission is seeking his reply about the telephonic conversation that he had with the Police cops deployed at Kotkapura exactly few hours before the opening of firing on peacefully protesting Sikhs at Behbal Klan.

It has come to fore that Justice Ranjit Singh has come across some kind of evidence ensuring Sumedh Saini’s role in ordering firing on peacefully protesting Sikhs at Behbal Klan.

It may be recalled here that two innocent Sikh youths had attained martyrdom in an unprovoked firing opened by the Punjab police on peaceful protesting Sikhs on October 14, 2015.

  1. Justice Ranjit Singh should sentence evil saini, badals, all responsible for killing Sikhs to gas chamber or hang until dead, but better if they be tortured to death like they did to thousands of innocent Sikh families!

  2. This idiot and the fat sukhbir both guilty as hell it is so clear and always has been. Justice may be served if Justice Ranjit Singh can bring these guilty parties in light of the victims and the Sikhs.
