LUDHIANA, Punjab—Old-aged Sikh activist Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa whose hunger strike entered 168th day, on Wednesday, appealed to declare Parkash Badal as a murderer in case he would attain martyrdom.
Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s health condition deeply worsened yesterday. He remained unconscious partially and sangat present there massaged his body. As Bapu Ji regained consciousness, he was unaware of his medical condition. After being acquainted, Bapu Ji made this appeal regarding the Punjab Chief Minister.
He said that the government has forgotten the fact that Sikhs never step down from seeking justice. He stated that the government was not taking the hunger strike seriously.
“After I attain martyrdom, the government will believe that aspiration for sacrifice in Sikhs is still alive.”
Bapu Surat Singh said that he would make decisive announcement during Panthik Conference to be held on July 6. He appealed all to attend the conference. Bapu Ji’s son Ravinderjit Singh Gogi and daughter Sarvinder Kaur told that last 2-3 days, his health condition has been very critical.
