SRI NANKANA SAHIB, Pakistan—This past Friday, Sikhs staged a demonstration against Indian aggression at the Sialkot working boundary.  The protest was staged by Sikhs living in Pakistan to support their country and to raise their voice against India for oppressing its neighboring country.

Tensions are all time high as both countries have blamed each others for breaking cease fire agreements.  Pakistan has reported that continuous shelling from India has resulted in killings of at least 12 civilians.

The protesters, led by Punjabi Sikh Sangat chairman Sardar Gopal Singh, demonstrated outside Gurdwara Janamasthan in Nankana Sahib. They were chanting slogans against India.

Sikh protesters urged the United Nations to take notice of Indian aggression and to intervene in Jammu & Kashmir and solve the long-running dispute.

  1. It is funny how the government of Pakistan’s majority muslim is using the tiny Sikh minority to futher its agenda. Pakistan has very poor record of its own against Sikh, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian and other minorities.
