New Delhi, India— The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has pledged to send Langar (community meals) to earthquake stricken Nepal. The 7.9 magnitude earthquake just outside of Kathmandu has left over 1,400 dead and thousands without adequate food or shelter.
DSGMC will provide 25,000 meals on a daily basis to the earthquake stricken country. The meals will be airlifted by the Indian Government from Delhi to Nepal.
