Unveiling of Rock of Justice at National Sikh Museum in Derby UK

2014-11-03 rockofjusticeDERBY, UK—The National Sikh Heritage Centre and Holocaust Museum, Derby, has unveiled the ‘Rock of Justice’ to commemorate the 30 years of campaigning by the global Sikh community for justice for the victims of the November 1984 genocide.

For four days across India Sikh men, women and children were butchered by politically orchestrated violence whilst the armed services, the police, foreign observers and the media just stood by.

The rock sculpture signifies continued resolve to seek justice and defiance of the systems and powers that continually thwart all attempts to bring the perpetrators to justice.
