CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The expired validity of the Garg Commission appointed by the Haryana Government has stopped the investigation of the Sikh massacre of Hond Chilla, Gurgaon and Pataudi, that was performed 30 years ago. The validity of this commission expired on 30 September, due to which the work of Court organized in Hisar also stopped. Nobody gave attention to extending the validity of this Commission because of of the Haryana Assembly Election.

It is noteworthy that this Commission was organized on 5 March in the command of Former Justice Sri T.P. Garg, 2011 and this commission was asked for presenting the report within 6 months. But the commission kept on asking for more time. In this way, validity of Commission was extended 6 times, each time for months. But the commission has still not presented the Investigation Report.
