SGPC launches free Covid-19 vaccination camp at Sri Anandpur Sahib

Today, the apex Sikh body Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee launched a free Covid-19 vaccination camp at Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib. Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib’s Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh and SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur kickstarted this camp.

Speaking on this occasion, SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur shed light on the relief work being done by the SGPC amid the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic. “Besides reserving Sri Guru Ram Dass Hospital for Covid-19 patients, the SGPC has established Corona Care Centres at various locations across Punjab,” she said.

She further said that the SGPC has already made arrangements to vaccinate common masses at Sri Guru Ram Dass Medical College (Amritsar) and Takht Sri Damdama Sahib (Talwandi Sabo), and this facility is being started at Sri Anandpur Sahib today.

“The SGPC is committed to the welfare of humanity and will keep on supporting the needy people with the help of Sikh sangat,” she said.

Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib’s Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh highly hailed the SGPC for launching this vaccination camp while terming the move to provide relief for humanity.

Giani Raghbir Singh has appealed to the common masses to contribute to the relief work being done by the SGPC.

SGPC’s executive member Ajmer Singh Khera, SGPC member Amarjit Singh Chawla, Jagsir Singh Mangeana, Gurpreet Singh Jhabbar, Charanjit Singh Kalewal, Mohan Singh Bangi, Principal Surinder Singh, OSD Dr Sukhbir Singh, Manager Malkit Singh, Additional Manager Hardev Singh etc. were present on this occasion.
