It is pertinent to note here that the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee had celebrated Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Parkash Purab on January 5 while complying with the basic Nanakshahi calendar but the Peshawari Sikhs have opted to celebrate Guru Sahib’s Parkash Purab as per the amended Nanakshahi calendar.�
