During his service tenure in SGPC, he also served as a head granthi at Gurdwara Sri Tarn Taran for long time before getting transferred to Sri Harmandir Sahib.�
Academically, Giani Sukhjinder Singh was very sound besides having a thorough study of religious scriptures of the Sikh religion.�
SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal has expressed deep grief over the untimed demise of Giani Sukhjinder Singh while extending condolences to his family members.�
