:dateline:The Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh has asked the Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the Maharashtra CM Udhav Thackeray by writing letters as well as through Twitter to make efforts for sending back the 2000 pilgrims stuck at Takht Sri Hazoor Sahib, Nanded.
Responding to Captain Amarinder Singhs request, the Maharshtras Tourism, Environment and Protocol Minister Aditya Thackeray has ensured him to look into the matter and do the needful shortly.
It is noteworthy here that all modes of transportation have been suspended for an indefinite time in almost all over India due to coronavirus outbreak.
Have written to HM @AmitShah Ji & Maharashtra CM @OfficeofUT to facilitate the evacuation of devotees stranded at Nanded Sahib Gurdwara. The pilgrims have been stranded there for long & we owe them safe return to their homes & families. pic.twitter.com/kHuzMuxP2A
