Delhi Violence: DSGMC organizes langars and relief camps in violence affected areas

NEW DELHI, India—The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee is providing food and medical facilities in violence affected areas of Delhi.  DSGMC president Manjinder Singh Sirsa said their volunteers are providing food, milk, bread and medicines to the violence victims along with with civil defense team operating under D.M. Sanjeev Kumar in Mustafabad, Zafrabad, Kraval Nagar, Mauzpur, Chandbagh, Yamuna Vihar, Ghonda, Brahampuri, Noor Elahi, Rajput Muhalla, Sri Ram Colony.

He said that the DSGMC has arranged langar for 5000 people in morning and for 10,000 in evening. “We also faced the same situation in 1984, so we understand the pain of victims very well,” he added.

Sirsa further said that they are also providing the service of delivering dead bodies from hospitals to their families.

Sirsa thanked D.M. Sanjeev Kumar, S.D.M. Shahdra, S.D.M. Vivek Vihar, S.D.M. Mauzpur for their support to provide relief services.
