BIHAR: Bridge over Ganga River to be named after Guru Gobind Singh Ji

PATNA, Bihar—On December 25, the Bihar CM Nitish Kumar took observation of the preparations for 354th Parkash Purab celebrations of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji which will begin from December 31 and conclude on January 3 at Takht Sri Harmandir Patna Sahib. He also paid obeisance at Takht Sri Patna Sahib.

He also underwent meeting with the management committee of Takht Sri Patna Sahib in which Avtar Singh Hit, Mohinder Pal Singh Dhillon, Inderjit Singh Tata Nagar, Secretary Mohinder Singh Chhabra, Lakhwinder Singh, Suraj Singh Nalwa, Jagjot Singh Sohi, Kamikkar Singh, Sumeet Singh Kalsi, Trilochan Singh, G.S Kang and Sarjinder Singh were also present.

Interacting with media after meeting, Nitish Kumar said that he will attend Parkash Purab celebrations of Guru Gobind Singh Ji on January 2.

Nitish Kumar also agreed to name the new bridge over Ganga River, which connects Patna city with Muzaffarnagar, Hajipur, Sonpur, Kehal Gao and Bhagalpur, after the name Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
