Controversial Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala pays obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib

CHANDIGARH, Punjab— Controversial Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, who is facing sharp Sikh wrath for misusing the name of Mata Bhag Kaur in his song, today paid obeisance at sanctum sanctorum Sri Harmandir Sahib and Sri Akal Takht Sahib. His parents were accompanying him on this occasion.

Sources have revealed that Sidhu Moosewala wanted to meet Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh but he couldn’t meet him as Giani Harpreet Singh was not there.

Although the media tried to question him on this occasion, but he refused to talk by saying that he has only come to pay obeisance at sanctum sanctorum along with his parents.

It may be recalled here that Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala had come under fire for using the name of Mata Bhag Kaur aka Mai Bhago in his unreleased song in a highly objectionable manner. This song belongs to a new Punjabi movie named “Ardab Mutiyaran” which was released worldwide on October 18. Later, Sidhu Moosewala had shared an apologizing video while claiming innocence. He had claimed that he didn’t do it intentionally so he should be forgiven.

Recently, he has again sung those controversial lines of his song and challenged the Sikhs in a highly objectionable manner.

The SGPC had lodged a complaint against Sidhu Moosewala for hurting religious sentiments of the Sikh community.
