:dateline:Political Sikh prisoner Bhai Nand Singh, who was languishing in the Patiala jail despite completing the life sentence addressed to him in several cases including the Burail jailbreak case, has been released from the Patiala jail.�
It is noteworthy here that the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs had announced to release eight political Sikh prisoners and commute death sentence of Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana on the eve of the 550th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.��
Although, the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs has already sent a letter regarding Bhai Rajoana’s death sentence commutation to life imprisonment but still there is no clarity about the names of other political Sikh prisoners which are being released by the Indian government.
A report published by ABP Sanjha this evening claims that seven other political Sikh prisoners namely Bhai Lal Singh, Bhai Gurdeep Singh Khera, Bhai Balbir Singh, Bhai Harjinder Singh aka Kaali, Bhai Waryam Singh and Bhai Subegh have also been released.�
