Gold plated palanquin installed in Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The gold plated palanquin, which was sent by the Sikhs residing in India, was installed at Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib on November 4. A huge number of Sikh pilgrims from India were present on the eve of the installation ceremony of this palanquin.

Chaudhary Sarwar, the governor of west Punjab, was also present on this occasion.

Interacting with media, Chaudhary Sarwar informed that the construction of Kartarpur corridor has been completed within a specified time period.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that the Pakistan government has mandated NOC from the Home Ministry for the drivers who will assist Sikh diaspora in the pilgrimage to Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib.
