13th annual sports meet held at Sri Guru Angad Dev College of Education in Khadoor Sahib

KHADOOR SAHIB, Punjab—The 13th annual sports meet of Sri Guru Angad Dev College of Education, which is being run by Baba Sewa Singh led Kaar Sewa sect in Khadoor Sahib, was held on October 25. Scores of students participated in this sports meet and manifested their skills in different sports.

Competition in various sports including simple athletics race (50 meter and 100 meter), sack race, relay race, shot put, long jump, discus throw etc. were held on this occasion.

Sikh scientists Dr. Gursharan Singh Randhawa and Dr. Kamaljit Singh were specially invited in this sports meet as chief guest. The duo scientists apprised students about the importance of sports in life and narrated the tales of struggle done by several noted athletes behind the scene.

Dr. Gursharan Singh Randhawa hailed the efforts being made by Baba Sewa Singh for ensuring the availability hi-tech education system to the residents living in the rural constituency of Khadoor Sahib.

The duo scientists, along with Principal Simarpreet Kaur Bedi, honored the winner students with medals and wished them good luck for their future endeavors.
