CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Commemorated to the 550th birthday of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the Congress led Punjab government is going to establish an open university in Patiala. The university will be named as “Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University” which is being established keeping in view the global shift in the nature of education.
Sharing the development with media in Batala, a spokesperson of CM office informed that a bill regarding the establishment of this university will be presented in the next session of Punjab assembly.
The main objective behind establishing this university is to offer opportunities of upgrading qualification and skills to the financially weak students who can’t afford education on a regular basis and have to work for sustaining their livelihood.
Sikh Gurus have sacrificed their everything for the Hindus existence & this nation. But alas, they don’t give any importance to their unparellel sacrifices. I pity on their religious system.
