CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The apex Sikh body Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee today held a religious program at Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib Diwan (situated in Sri Harmandir Sahib complex) to mark the 303rd martyrdom anniversary of great Sikh general Baba Banda Singh Bahadur.
Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib was laid on this occasion following which the Hazoori Raagi Jatha of Bhai Anand Singh delighted the Sikh sangat with melodious Kirtan. Bhai Salwinder Singh performed Ardas on this occasion.
Dhadi Jathas of Bhai Gurpreet Singh Bhangu and Bhai Gurshinder Singh Sitara apprised the Sikh sangat with incomparable history of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur. Beside it, preacher Bhai Harpreet Singh Wadala Johal also addressed the religious discourse on this occasion and encouraged the Sikh masses to take inspiration from the life of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur.
