Panjoli Suggests SAD High Command to Keep Panthik Agenda on Priority

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The SGPC member Karnail Singh Panjoli has invited the Shiromani Akali Dal to revoke back the decisions taken in the Moga conference and get polarized towards the Panthik agenda. Notably, the Shiromani Akali Dal had announced itself a Punjabi Party and had put the Panthik issues on secondary place in the Moga conference in 1996.

Panjoli has said that the Sikh voters are distancing themselves from the Shiromani Akali Dal day by day which is the main reason SAD’s defeat in the recently held polls. “Though, Sukhbir Badal has succeeded with a very big difference, but the reality is that the traditional vote bank of Akali Dal is getting away slowly,” he added.

“The high command needs to trace the reasons of Sikh voters’ distraction from Shiromani Akali Dal and then take bold decisions to recover the loss,” Panjoli said while demanding reversal of decisions taken in Moga conference and making the Panthik agenda a primary preference of the Shiromani Akali Dal.

Panjoli further said that every Sikh wants to see the Shiromani Akali Dal in high morale but the recent distraction of the Sikh voters need to be analyzed thoroughly.
