Saka Behbal Klan: Moga Police’s Plea to Get Back Its Gypsy Turned Down by Court

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—On April 5, a Faridkot based Court of Judicial Magistrate Chetan Sharma turned down the Moga police’s request to get back its Gypsy which was fabricated as an evidence by the police to claim counter-firing over Sikhs at Behbal Klan. This Jeep is currently kept at the Bajakhana police station under the custody of the Special Investigation Team.

Sikh24 has learnt that the Court rejected Moga police’s plea by saying that the Jeep was a main evidence of the Behbal Klan firing incident so the police can’t get it back as the bullet marks could be tampered.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that the Punjab government has now approached the upper court to get back this gypsy.

It is pertinent to note here that after opening firing on peacefully protesting Sikhs at Behbal Klan in October-2015, the police cops had later fired bullets on this gypsy to attack by protesting Sikhs. The police had used a .12 bore rifle of a lawyer to create bullet marks on this gypsy after martyring two Sikh youths and injuring several others at Behbal Klan.
