CHANDIGARH, Punjab—As per latest updates, the Sessions Court of Faridkot has permitted the Special Investigation Team to interrogate the Sirsa cult chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim. Notably, the SIT had sought permission from the Faridkot Court to interrogate Sirsa cult chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim on March 19. A SIT member had said that interrogation of Gurmeet Ram Rahim was the need of the hour to crack the Kotkapura and Behbal Klan firing cases.
Sharing the development, SIT member IG Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh said that now they will establish contact with the Rohtak jail authorities to set the time for interrogating Gurmeet Ram Rahim.
It is noteworthy here that the Sirsa cult chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim is currently serving life imprisonment in Rohtak jail for raping his two female disciples and murdering a Journalist named Ram Chandar Chhatrapati for exposing his reality.
