550th Birthday Celebrations: Punjab Governor to Release Commemoratory Gold and Siver Coins on November 23

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—As per a press note shared by the SGPC, the Punjab governor V.P Singh Badnore has accepted the invitation for attending the inauguration of the 550th birthday celebrations program at Gurdwara Sri Ber Sahib, Sultanpuri Lodhi on November 23. He will release the special gold and silver coins commemorated to the 550th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on this day.

It is learnt that the SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal handed over an invitation letter to the Punjab governor V.P Singh Badnore in this concern on November 18. Akali parliamentarian Prem Singh Chandumajra, SGPC secretary Avtar Singh Sainpla, Simranjit Singh Chandumajra and Darshan Singh Longowal were also present on this occasion.

It is noteworthy here that the SGPC is sending invitations to all the political leaders to attend the inauguration of 550th birthday celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Sultanpur Lodhi on November 23. The SGPC has already invited the Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh earlier.
