Political Sikh Prisoner Bhai Gurdeep Singh Khera Released on Parole for 21 Days

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Political Sikh prisoners Bhai Gurdeep Singh Khera was reportedly released on parole for 21 days from the central jail of Amritsar on November 2. Resident of village Jallupur Khera, Bhai Gurdeep Singh Khera has been languishing in Indian jails for the last 28 years.

Bhai Gurdeep Singh Khera was transferred to Amritsar jail from Karnataka when the peaceful struggle of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa was at peak in 2015. He was released on parole for the first time on April 22, 2016 for 28 days.
