Akalis Need More Bullet Proof Vehicles, says Sunil Kumar Jakhar

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Interacting with media in Batala on October 15, the Punjab Congress chief Sunil Kumar Jakhar taunted on the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) by saying that it feels like the Punjab government will need more bullet proof vehicles for protecting Akali leaders from the common masses of Punjab. Going further, Jakhar said that the Punjab government might also feel need to detain Akali leaders in their houses to save them from Punjab masses in future.

Commenting on the recent embarrassment faced by Sukhbir Badal at village Nikke Ghumman of Gurdaspur, Jakhar said that the Punjab government was concerned about the same since attack on DSGMC president Manjit Singh GK in USA. He added that he had already explained it earlier that the Punjab villagers won’t let Akali leaders enter into their villages.

Jakhar further said that the Special Investigation Team will complete its investigation on sacrilege issue soon and the culprits would be brought to justice but the Punjab masses have also started delivering justice to the culprits at their own.

The Punjab Cabinet Minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa said that the so called Akali leaders Sukhbir Badal and Bikram Majithia are getting what they sowed during their tenure. He dubbed HS Phoolka as an unfit politician for the Punjab politics.
