26th Martyrdom Anniversary of Shaheed Bhai Ajit Singh Qadian Observed

GURDASPUR, Punjab—The 26th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Bhai Ajit Singh Qadian was observed by the Sikh sangat at Gurdwara Sahib of village Talwandi Gorayaan (Gurdaspur) on October 12. Notably, Shaheed Bhai Ajit Singh Qadian had attained martyrdom while battling against the oppressive Indian regime in 1992.

Following the culmination of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, a Kirtani Jatha of Damdami Taksal (Ajnala) delighted the present attendees with melodious Kirtan. Kathavachak Giani Massa Singh addressed the religious discourse of martyred Sikhs to the Sikh sangat. Bhai Surinder Singh Talibpura acted as a stage secretary during this program.

An Amrit Sanchaar event (baptizing event) was also organized during this program in which 62 persons got baptized.

More than 50 families of martyred Sikhs also attended this martyrdom anniversary program.

Bhai Bhupinder Singh Bhalwan (Chief of Akhand Kirtani Jatha (Germany)), SYFB leader Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal, Dr. Gurjinder Singh, District president of SAD (Amritsar) Bhai Gurbachan Singh Pawar, Bhai Kulwant Singh Nangal, Bhai Kulwant Singh Majhail, Bhai Gurmeet Singh Mann, Bhai Satnam Singh Kahlon, Kavishar Bhai Malkit Singh Veeram, Jathedar Baba Darshan Singh Moga, Raagi Bhai Kulwinder Singh Ajnala, Dhadi Bhai Davinder Singh, Bhai Shaam Singh, Bhai Kirpal Singh, Bhai Chanpreet Singh, Bibi Ajit Kaur Qadian etc. addressed the Sikh sangat on this occasion.
